KAY, Rita - March 6, 1935 - June 4, 2018
Rita Kay (Kasprzak) (nee Ellis) passed away peacefully on the morning of June 4th in Toronto at the age of 83.
She will be lovingly remembered by her only child Dawn Dickinson (Frank and sons Ross, Darren and Trevor), her nieces: Lesley (Peter), Elaine (Mike) and Anne (Jack) and her adopted niece Barb, as well as her grandnieces and nephews: Carrie (Hugh and children Dylan and Jaime), Jani (Adam and son Oliver), Christopher, Kevin and Ryan.
She was an independent woman who lived life to the fullest, travelling the world with her best friend Stella and working 40 years for Metro Toronto.
There are too many stories and adventures to tell. Unfortunately, Alzheimer's took its toll and her life.
As per her request, there will be no service at this time. Cremation has taken place.
A 'celebration of life' for family and friends will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to the Alzheimer Society of Toronto, or The Toronto Humane Society would be appreciated.
