Phillips MurrayPHILLIPS, Murray  - March 11, 1929 - June 6, 2018

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Murray on June 6th at The Royal Victoria Health Centre in Barrie, Ontario.

Murray leaves behind his wife Barbara of over 31 years.

He will be sadly missed by his son Del Phillips (Pat) and his daughters Shandra Shoreman (Roger), Dianne Zuber (John) and step-son Doug Grabinsky.

He will be remembered fondly by his grandchildren Matt (Kirsten), Elissa, Selina, Shaylen, Greg, Emily and Spencer. Murray also leaves his great-granddaughter Amy. Survived also by his sister-in-law Heather Phillips.

Murray was predeceased by his parents Laurence and Reta Phillips and his brother George.

He leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Murray was employed by the CIBC directly after completing high school. He retired from the bank on December 31, 1988.

Murray was an active member of the High Park/Melita Lodge No. 531 since 1984. He was appointed by Grand Lodge of Ontario as Grand Steward in 1999. He was also an active member from 2001-2015 with Rameses Temple-Drum Corps Unit.

Visitation will take place at the Jerrett Funeral Home (6191 Yonge Street, North York, Ontario) on Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. with a Masonic Service to be held at 7 p.m.  Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. in the Jerrett Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation to take place with a private burial at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
