Cudden RobertCUDDEN, Robert  - It is with great sadness in our hearts, that our family is having to announce the peaceful passing of Robert “Bob” Cudden, in North York, Ontario, on June 24, 2018, at the age of 85 years.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Anne McQueen, whom he loved dearly.

He will be sadly missed by his four children and their spouses: Robert Jr. & Yvonne, Ann & Charlie, Philip & Ayn, and Aileen & Mike; and fondly remembered by his grandchildren Thomas, Kaylee, Jenna, Tara, Talon, Sheryl and his great-niece Kate.

Bob was born in County Meath, Ireland on May 1, 1933 to Charles and Ellen Cudden (nee Sheekey). He was the fourth of eleven children, and is predeceased by his brothers Harry, Jimmy, Charlie. He will be missed by siblings Pat, Mary, George, Tom, Phil, Claire and Ann, and all of their families. He was also fondly regarded by all of his in-laws from both marriages, friends from career and church, and friends of his children, whom he always welcomed into his home.

At the age of 18, he left home to pursue a Structural Engineering Degree in England, and later moved to Canada, where he met and married Mary, and had four children together. After being widowed, he gave his heart to Anne McQueen, through their marriage in 1988, and together they shared their passions for good food, fine arts and the Catholic church.

Visitation at the Paul O'Connor funeral home, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E., from 2-4 and 6:30 – 8:30 pm on Thursday, June 28th, 2018. Funeral Mass on Friday, June 29th, 2018 at 10 am in St. Bonaventure Catholic Church (Leslie south of Lawrence).

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
