FAY, William (Bill)  - Peacefully at Maple Villa on Thursday January 18, 2018.

Previously married to Sally Fay. Devoted father to Richard (Ronica), Christopher (Lindsey) and Jonathan Fay.

Sibling to Kathleen Pike (Tony), John, Christine, Patrick, Christopher (Charlotte) and Michael.

William had a number of extended family including 8 nieces and nephews, 12 great nieces and nephews and 2 great great nieces and nephews.

Bill was born in England on July 26th, 1942 to William Fay Sr. and Christina Fay (nee Dignam) He served in the Royal Military Police for nine years and was based in Bulford Camp, Amesbury, England.

Bill was in Canada for a small exercise but spent the majority of his time in Cypress. He moved to Canada in 1967 where he joined the Metro Toronto Police for thirty years, the majority of which was spent in the 13th Division. Bill also spent time in the Traffic Department and on the Duty Desk, as well as singing in the Metro Toronto Police Choir.

A Visitation will be held on Monday January 22nd from 7pm to 9pm at Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home- Burlington Chapel, with a service Tuesday January 23rd at 11am.

Special thanks to all the staff at the Tony Stacey Centre in Scarborough and Maple Villa in Burlington for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Veterans Fund in honor of Bill.
