MARTINEZ, Virgilio E. Sr. - Passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at MacKenzie Health Hospital in Richmond Hill, ON surrounded by his loving family. He was 73 years old.
Virgilio was born on November 27, 1947 in Manila, Philippines to Osias and Angelita Martinez.
He was survived by his wife Rebecca and his children Lailani and Virgilio Jr.
His family moved to Canada in March 1987.
Virgilio Sr. was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and brother to his family and was always there for them.
He was a quiet person who was always smiling and always supportive of everyone.
Virgilio Sr. was also the number 1 fan of his children and grand children in every event that they had attended be it singing competition, church or school events. He was very giving and was always rewarding the grand children as they excel in their works. He was happy to see his grand children work hard and look forward to their rewards.
Virgilio Sr. had so many traits that will make his family miss him dearly but will forever keep him in their hearts for as long as they live.
The family of Virgilio E. Martinez Sr. would like to thank the caring doctors and nurses at MacKenzie Health most especially his daughter in-law Karina Martinez who works as a nurse at MacKenzie Health. She not only took care of him but made sure that he was getting the best attention during his stay even at the very last moment of his life.
