Mandralis VangeliaMANDRALIS, Vangelia - It is with great sadness that we announce Vangelia passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side on July 4, 2021, at the age of 91.

Loving daughter of the late Elias and Stoyna Strumos.

Loving wife of the late Anastasios and loving mother of Chrissula (the late Chris) and Sophie (the late Ioannis).

Beloved sister of Tony, Peter, the late Phillip and the late Tasa.

Vangelia will be greatly missed by all but especially her grandchildren Larry (Noula), Dave (Angelene), Bill (Annette), Julie (Neal), Christina (Tony) and Thomas.

She was also an adored Baba by her twelve great grandchildren Chris, Ioan, Lucas, Aidan, Thomas, Philip, Olivia, Sophia, Andrew, Zoe, Anthony and Sienna.

Vangelia lived a beautiful full life and was so proud of her family. No matter how she was feeling, she cherished spending time with her family and would never miss a special event. Vangelia loved to cook and was especially known for her homemade Zelnik and Tsoureki which were the best there is.

She loved sharing her stories with everyone and made an impression on all. She was always smiling, joking, laughing and REALLY loved to dance. Vangelia will be so dearly missed and forever in our hearts. May she rest in peace, and her memory be eternal.

Visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Centre, Toronto, on Friday July 9, 2021. A funeral service will be held at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 30 Thorncliffe Park Drive, Toronto, on Saturday July 10, 2021, at 10am, and burial to follow. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there are limited spaces for visitation and funeral service.
