Nash RetaNASH, Reta Isabel - We sadly announce the peaceful passing of Reta on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Bethany Lodge in Unionville, ON, but rejoice that she is now at home in heaven with her personal Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

She died in her 100th year; born to William Robertson and Florence (Shaw) on March 18, 1922, predeceased by her husband W. Blake Nash, daughter Lynn (Glendenning), daughter-in-law Vicki (Edwards), grandson Rory and siblings Margaret (Moore), George, Earl, Les and Nelson Robertson.

She is survived by sister Hilda (Hill) and sister-in-law Mary (Robertson), sons Murray (Ellie), Ron (Marguerite), Scott (Heather) and son-in-law Len (Jacqueline) Glendenning.

Reta was so proud of her 20 grandchildren and spouses and her 18 great grandchildren.

We wish to thank many over the years who have supported Reta and the greater Nash family; Richvale Bible Chapel in Richmond Hill was in integral part of her life for so many years. Friends and neighbours on Yongehurst Rd and around Richmond Hill were a constant source of friendship and encouragement.

In her later years Bethany Lodge has been her home and as a family we thank the staff and all of her care-givers. Special thanks to Patty Fiore who was always so loving and caring and encouraged Reta in her faith.

Friends may visit to support the family on Thursday, August 12, 2021  at Marshall Funeral Home, Richmond Hill, ON. Due to Covid-19 restrictions a private family funeral and gravesite ceremonies will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021.

In lieu of flowers please donate to Camp Medeba which was near and dear to Reta’s heart. This can be done by mailing a cheque to: Medeba, PO Box 138, 1270 Kennisis Lake Rd., West Guilford, ON, K0M 2S0 or online by going to their website, medeba.com. Under the Menu tab click ‘Donate’, and then click the ‘Support us through the COVID-19 Relief Fund!’ tab.
