DAY, Orren and Eileen - It is with sadness that we must announce the deaths of both of our parents, within a month.
Orren, son of William (Bill) and Freda (Nan) Day (nee Kohler), died peacefully, on August 7, 2021, in Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC), in the company of his granddaughter.
He is survived by his sister Leila (Babe) and his sister-in-law Ann, was predeceased by his brother Cecil, and his sister Edith (Doll).
Eileen, daughter of Theodore and Bessie Bangay (nee Conrad), died peacefully, on September 5, 2021, which also happens to be the birthday of her mother Bessie and her grandson Derek, in PRHC in the company of her sons.
She is survived by her brother David (Joan), and was predeceased by her brother Kenneth.
Both Mom and Dad are survived by their three children, Michael, Neil, and Avis (Stuart), as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Also by granddaughters, Lisa (Dave) and Michelle and by grandsons, Derek (Lindsay) and Mark (Becky).
And there are great-grandchildren, not to be forgotten: Charlie, Andrew, Mary, Avery, and Madison.
Burial for Eileen will take place at Resthaven Memorial in Scarborough, beside Orren, on October 13, 2021, at 1:00 p.m., which would be their 70th wedding anniversary.
Let the dancing continue.
