de JONG, Martha Dianne - With great sadness, our family announces the passing of our beloved Dianne on September 9, 2021.
Dianne was much loved amongst her family, friends and the wider community of 60 Pavane Linkway and the Flemingdon Park Neighbourhood.
Dianne was the daughter of Ethel Lyons and Harvey Gilbert.
Dianne leaves behind her loving husband Bouke de Jong, daughter Linda de Jong and son-in-law Karell Lopez.
She will be greatly missed by Bruce and Audrey Gilbert, Don and Beverly Gilbert, her cousin Betty Gilbert and by her nieces and nephews overseas and in Canada; particularly her niece Elizabeth Nicholas with whom she developed a special relationship.
And finally, her beautiful friends, Joan Harvey, Alice Nagami and Marcel Attar.
Special thanks to Dr. Michelle Hladunewich and the Sunnybrook dialysis team, whose personal interest and care for the past 6 years has been of great comfort for Martha and her family.
