Edwards PaulEDWARDS, Paul Jonathon - Paul Edwards passed away on December 2nd, 2021, at Trillium Hospital in Mississauga at the age of 62.

Paul will be missed by his wife Debbie, brothers Dave (Denise) and Peter, sister Karin, daughters Melody (Orrin), Veronica (Ryan), and Victoria, stepdaughters Victorea and Lesley, and grandchild Aidan.

Paul was predeceased by his parents Des and June Edwards.

When Paul’s family moved to Canada in 1966, his family moved in next to St. Mike’s Arena in Toronto, which sparked Paul’s lifelong love of hockey. Paul was a devoted Toronto Maple Leafs fan, and was a coach for local boys' hockey teams, as well as girls' soccer. He was an inspiring leader to the kids on his teams and was known to give rides to players who wouldn’t otherwise be able to attend games.

Paul was a beloved mail carrier in Acton, Ontario for over 30 years, where he was known to go the extra mile to make sure his mail was delivered. Music was a big part of Paul’s life; he was the bass player in his band “The Chronic Symptoms” and his love of music inspired his children’s musical tastes at an early age.

Paul had a great and unique sense of humour and was always willing to lend a hand to a friend in need. He was nice to everyone he met and would accept anyone as they were. He will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him.

Arrangements are entrusted with Ridley funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Paul’s memory.
