Brockie BeverleyBROCKIE, Beverley   - May 14, 1944 - November 1, 2018

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Beverley Brockie on November 1, 2018.

Bev is predeceased by her beloved eldest daughter Debbie.

Loving and devoted mom of Janet (Scott Larmer), Darren (Jennifer), Craig (Allyson) and son-in-law Jeremy Spence.

Her grandchildren, whom she adored and gave her great joy, Adam, Emma, Dayna, Brianna, Jay, Tori, Claire, Elyse, Luke and Harper. Loved by sisters Barbara, Brenda and brother Bill and a dear friend to a wide circle of friends. Bev was greatly loved by family and friends and is profoundly missed.

Bev was born in Hamilton, raised in Toronto, attended Runnymede Public School and Humberside Collegiate, a Mississauga resident for 25 years and a Peel District School Board retiree.

Bev was the center and heart of our family where her greatest joy and mission in life was raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren. After a 17-year hiatus to raise a family, Bev returned to the working world, enjoying her numerous roles in administration at the Peel Board. She could always be counted on to contribute whether it was work, school or church.

She was an active member in the UCW at Erindale United Church for over 25 years and more recently enjoyed fellowship at Islington United Church. She was fortunate to have traveled the world creating wonderful memories and experiences with many friends and family.

Grateful thanks to Dr. M. Bernardini, Dr. M. Butler, the gynecological oncology team at Princess Margaret and for the many kindnesses shown by other healthcare professionals who have cared for Bev over the past six years.

A private service is planned for immediate family members.

In memory, donations to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation are much appreciated.
