Sylvestre PamelaSYLVESTRE, Pamela Creina (nee HASLOP)  - It is with heavy hearts that we announce our beloved Pamela passed into spirit, peacefully at her home in Brampton, on the evening of January 1, 2019, at the age of 84.

Pamela rejoins her parents Nina and Albert; sisters Phyllis, Jessica, Anne, Cynthia and Ninette; and her loving husband Winston (2018).

Pamela was the cherished mother of Shelton (Tracy) and Melody (Gary/ David).

Devoted grandmother of Michael, Samantha (Christian) and Sydney and great-grandmother of Josie.

She was the dear aunt of Wendy Nelson, Linda Shannon, Susan White, Elaine Beck, Varsenic Madathian, Janet D'Cruiz, Jill Berry, Beverly Pearson, Peter Nelson, Timothy Trevena and Mark Berry. Pamela was the loving sister of Lorna Nelson.

Pamela was born on September 19, 1934 in Hazaribagh, West Bengal, India.

She was married to the love of her life Winston for fifty-eight years.

In 1965, together with their two children, they immigrated to Canada via a six-week stay in Australia.

Pamela was a devoted member of St. Joseph of Nazareth Anglican Church.

Pamela will be dearly missed by her family and friends and will be fondly remembered for her welcoming hospitality around the kitchen table with a hot cup of tea and her lifelong dedication to helping others.

The family extends special thanks, love and appreciation to the caring friends, neighbours and parishioners who have helped Pamela and Winston in their silver years. In loving memory of Pamela, those who wish to make a donation are asked to consider Caring & Sharing Bramalea/Brampton, Meals on Wheels Brampton, or Diabetes Canada or any charity of your choosing.

Friends will be received at the Scott Funeral Home "Brampton" Chapel, (289 Main Street North) on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 5:00–8:00 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2019 at St. Joseph of Nazareth Anglican Church (290 Balmoral Drive, Brampton) officiated by Rev. David Bryant. Private Cremation.
