LARSEN, Arne Larsen

Suddenly but peacefully on Monday April 13, 2026, Arne Larsen passed away at home in Searchmont, Ontario.

Survived and missed by his wife Cathy (nee Gray) of 45 years.

Predeceased by his father Poul. Survived by his stepmother Colleen. Brother of Jack (Nellie), the late Tom, Peter, and sisters, the late Lillian, Hannah (Arne), Karen (John) and Lisa. Survived by many aunts, an uncle and many relatives throughout Canada, Denmark and Sweden. Brother-in-law of Barbara and Bill, Donald and Cathy and the late Robert (Dougal).

Arne Larsen was a jack of all trades from farm hand, construction, bouncer, retail business, volunteer firefighter, internet provider and IT consultant to a very active retirement volunteering and developing a beautiful home in Searchmont.

We invite you to join us in celebrating Arne’s life at Searchmont Community Centre (734 Hwy 532, Searchmont), Friday, May 1, from 6:00pm-9:00pm for a fireman’s Honour Guard, shared stories and memories. Or on Saturday, May 2, from 1:00pm-4:00pm a reception will be held at Mountain View Lodge (4280 HWY 556 Goulais River).

Inurnment will be held in Parkhill, ON., on May 22, 2026.
