LAKE, Christine Joyce Lake

With profound sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Christine Joyce Lake on May 23, 2026, at Hillsdale Terraces in Oshawa, Ontario, at the age of 81. Beloved wife of Gordon, with whom she shared 61 wonderful years of marriage. Cherished mother of Tracey. Proud and loving Nana of Krista (Matt) and Jayden (Drayden). Adored Great-Nana of Ryker, Morgan, Jackson, and Callum.

Christine was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Joan.

To know Christine was to know warmth, comfort and unconditional love. She never missed the mark on being the magic for every holiday and making memorable life experiences. She greatly treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life. In her younger years, Christine was actively involved in the Rebels Drum and Bugle Corps youth group. While she held many roles throughout her life, the one she cherished the most was being Nana.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate and caring staff at Hillsdale Terraces. Their kindness and support shown to Christine, Gordon, and her family will always be deeply cherished and remembered.

Christine was deeply loved by her family and friends, and she will be remembered for her kindness, caring nature and strength.

Visitation and funeral arrangements have been entrusted to OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME.
