PERKINS, Lyndol Amos Perkins

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Lyndol Amos Perkins (Lyn), age 91 years at Cornwall Community Hospital on June 3, 2026.
Predeceased by his parents Carlton and Evelyn Perkins, his siblings Shirley, Ted, Helen, Maurice, Lucille and Iris.
He was the loving husband of Shirley Vranckx for 51 years.
He is survived by his spouse Ute Baldwin and her family, as well as his
children Judy (Greg), Joanne (Phil), Lori (Tony).
He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Kyle (Jessica), Kirk (Christina), Scott, Nicholas, Lisa, Kyra and great-grandchildren Mason and Matthew.
Lyn is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Lyn grew up as the youngest of 7 children in Baldwin Mills, Quebec where he lived on a farm with his family. He eventually made his way to Montreal where he married, had children and became a life long employee of the Royal Bank of Canada, until his retirement in 1989.
Lyn loved to sing and play his many guitars and every family member will remember the numerous times he would call and serenade them with Happy Birthday on their special day. He was a humble and kind man who treated people with respect.
Lyn maintained many close friendships. He was an avid golfer and curler with his wife Shirley and they spent many happy years together escaping Canadian winters down south.
After Shirley’s passing Lyn found love again with Ute. They both enjoyed many holidays and time together as they started a new chapter in their lives. We are very grateful for the love and support Ute provided to our father.
A special thank you to Gail Keeler, Gary and Debbie Perkins, and all of the Champagne, Player and Smith families for their continued concern with our Dad over the years.
Lyn was especially grateful to his brother Ted and wife Betty for all the mentorship he received from them early on in his life.
Thank you to all who made our Dad’s life brighter.
A private family service will take place.
