MEAD, Vera Levere Mead

September 6, 1947 - May 27, 2026

She passed away peacefully at the Belleville General Hospital on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. She is survived by her son Anthony Levere (Dawn), daughter Laurie Levere (Richard) her grandchildren Nicholas and Morgan McConville, her long time partner Donald Colgan and twin Verna Zinkie (Bill). Survived by her siblings Elwyn (Beth), Harvey (Leurece), Ernie (Ruthanne) and Doreen (Gary). Pre-deceased by: Rhena (Lee), Gordon (Lilly), Roland (Kay), Isabelle (Wendell) and Mack (Gladys). A special mention to Beth and the Colgan extended family, all of which Vera loved and appreciated. Thank you for being in her life. Vera Levere Mead was well known at the Monday Music Nights in which she attended every week and enjoyed. She will be missed. May she rest in peace.

The family will receive friends at Milestone Funeral Home, Northbrook Chapel on Friday, June 19, 2026 from 11am to 12pm followed by a Celebration of Life Service in the Chapel at 12pm. Her urn will be placed in the Columbarium at the Northbrook Cemetery following the service.
