VANHORNE, Marilyn Anne Vanhorne

In Loving Memory of Marilyn Vanhorne (née Whattam) born March 12, 1936.

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Marilyn Vanhorne (née Whattam), who passed away at Hospice Prince Edward on Wednesday, July 2, 2026, surrounded by love.

Marilyn went to be with “her Ron” (Ron Conley) shortly after his passing earlier this year. She was predeceased by her loving husbands Donald Bartman and Keith Vanhorne.

Marilyn Anne Vanhorne was a devoted and loving mother to her five children, Becky (Brian McFaul), Lynda (Ted Dainard), Robert Bartman (Lisa), Brenda (Steve Conley), and Barbara Dean (Allen) whose lives were forever shaped by her unwavering love, strength, and kindness.

She was a cherished Nanny and the greatest gift to her fifteen grandchildren and a proud Great-Grandmother to twenty-eight great-grandchildren.

Marilyn was a loving sister to Tom Whattam (Diane) and Lori Markland (Bill). Predeceased by Roger and Howard Whattam. Fondly remembered by many special family and friends.

Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, celebrating their accomplishments, and creating memories that will be treasured for generations.

Though our hearts are heavy with her passing, we find comfort in knowing that her love lives on through the family she cherished so deeply.

There will be a private family gathering to celebrate Marilyn’s amazing life!
