Beloved spouse and companion for almost 40 years to Bill Crow.
Loving mother to Matthew (Justine) Jenkins. Step-mother to Barry (Melissa) Crow and Jennifer Crow (Erik Urban).

She will be lovingly remembered by extended family and many friends.
Family was an enormous part of Denise’s life. Her grandchildren were everything to her and she enjoyed every moment she got to spend with them. Denise was a kind soul and was never afraid to lend a hand to those in need, never wanting anything in return. She had an infectious smile that would light up the room and make everyone feel welcomed.
Denise loved social gatherings, particularly with her close friends and family. Whether it was a celebration or just a small get together, Denise would take any chance she could to be around those she loved. She was the life of the party and always made sure everyone had a great time. Denise was the queen of one liners and always had people laughing wherever she went.
She enjoyed cooking and crafting and spent much of her life traveling. She visited many destinations including Japan, New Zealand, Alaska, Hawaii, Croatia, and she was extremely proud when she hiked to the top of Machu Picchu in Peru. She was able to go on many vacations with her traveling companion, Mary Collinson. Although she wasn’t able to make it, Denise had a great desire to visit Africa.
Denise excelled in sports and always found joy in movement and teamwork. She played basketball, baseball (specifically slow pitch), and ran track. She was able to create many friendships and memories playing and traveling. Although her time was short, she will always be remembered as a beautiful and kind woman.
As per Denise’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
Donations made in memory of Denise to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
