COMER, George Thomas Comer

It is with profound sadness that the family of George Thomas Comer announces his passing after a brief illness at Uxbridge Cottage Hospital on July 17, 2026, in his 90th year.

George is lovingly remembered by his wife of 67 years (September 2026), Marion (née Brown). He was a devoted father to Larry and Jo Anne (Terry), and a cherished Grandpa to Jordan (Lauren), Kylie (Benjamin), and Branden. He took great joy in being Great-Grandpa to two wonderful boys.

Predeceased by his parents A. Murray and Lena (née Stark) Comer, and siblings Mary (Frank), Howard (Lorna), and Bert (Carol). He is survived by his sister Doris.

George adored all of his many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in his heart.

A funeral service will be held at Low & Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Uxbridge on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 1:00 PM with visitation to begin at 11:00 AM.  Reception to follow.
