SIVANESAN, Meenalojani Sivanesan

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Mrs. Meenalojani Sivanesan, a formidable wife, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend who loved fiercely, gave generously and lived faithfully.

She is bereaved by her husband of 58 years Sinniah Sivanesan, children Ezhila (Jeyapalan), Ruban (Carolyn), Lavanya (Prashanthan) & Sanjee; and her beloved grandchildren, Sindu, Sruthee, Maijuu, Arya, Visagan, Krishnavi and Vishalini.

She was the only daughter of Vairamuthu Karthigesu of Alvay and Gnanamma of Vannarpannai, Sri Lanka and beloved sister of Dr. Jegan Mohan (Benita), UK (deceased), Lokesan (Arunthati) (Germany), Nagulesan (Naguleswari), Colombo (deceased) and Sivanesan (Sivasakthi – deceased), UK. She will be deeply missed by her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

While her loss is unbearable, we are comforted by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s words:

Death involves certain developments that weaken and extinguish life. It does not affect the Atma (soul); the Atma has no death. It cannot be destroyed. Therefore, one should not fear death. Death is but another stage of life. However long one suffers from illness or however severe the injury, death can happen only when Time signals the right moment. When the yearning for living ends, there can be no more birth.

We are eternally grateful for her blissful presence and love. We pray to the Almighty that she attain moksha (liberation) from samsara (cycle of birth and death).
