PARKS, Glen Walter Parks

Our so very loved Glen Walter Parks, born in East Whitby Township (Oshawa), left us on July 18, 2026. Husband to Barbara Jean Parks (Burnett); father and best friend to Alan, Jamie (Shannon), and Michael (Susan); and grandfather to James, Colin, and Nigel; step grandfather to Callum (Autumn), and Eme’ (Riley).
Glen, son of Glen and Doris Parks, was the youngest of the family and brother to Milton (Jo), Thurne (Joan), Stella Litchfield (Bruce), Colin (Ada), Doris Young (Tommy), and Nancy Sanderson (Ray).
Glen was son-in-law to Gordon and Mary Burnett, and brother-in-law-to Marilyn.
His large family gave him many nieces and nephews while his very young great grandchildren had yet to know him.
Glen had a happy, full, and successful life and often stated “we did it all”. The family is hearing over and over of what a good man he was each time condolences are given. “Some days you’re the bat and some days you’re the ball!”
In lieu of a service, the immediate family is gathering privately.
