CRYDERMAN, Carolyne Rolande Cryderman

April 20, 1968 - August 2, 2026

It is with profound sadness we inform you of the passing of Carolyne Cryderman on Sunday, August 2nd, 2026. She passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa Hospital with her family at her side at the young age of 58 years old. She fought an incredibly courageous and valiant battle with multiple health issues these last 9 months. She is now resting in God’s loving arms & again reunited with her departed loving husband of 29 years.

Carolyne was an incredible person who always helped others in any way she possibly could. She was such a kind and giving person who often put others needs over her own. She was born to be a nurse as she was incredibly strong, empathetic, and such a loving person. Carolyne practiced as an RN for 27 years at Scarborough Health Network Centenary Hospital. She had such a calm disposition which made her an incredible listener. And she had wisdom that was beyond her years.

Carolyne enjoyed exercising, cooking, and hosting family gatherings or entertaining small get togethers with friends. She was an avid recipe collector and enjoyed creating new and different gourmet meals. She loved to travel, read books, and attending music concerts. She also enjoyed the simplest things in life like a cozy blanket, a scented candle, and warm fire. In her early years she was a dancer and in her later years she grew a fondness for football. Carolyne always found peace and comfort with her cats and horses.

She was born in North Bay, Ontario but lived most of her life in the Durham Region. Daughter of the late Vanessa Neahr (d Fred Neahr), survived by her father Claude Tetreault. Predeceased by her loving husband Glenn Cryderman(2021) of 29 years. Cherished mother of Cole Cryderman and Britney Cryderman. Adored grandmother to her one and only granddaughter Isla. Survived by her sister Virginia Neahr, brother Christi Neahr, many nieces and nephews, and her loving partner Dan Mallen. Predeceased by her sister Kathryn Neahr.

Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N Whitby on Sunday August 16th, 2026 from 12:00 noon until time of celebration of life at 1:00 pm

In memory of Carolyne, memorial donations to the Lakeridge Health Oshawa or Toronto General Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
