Donald Lepoudre passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer and a long struggle with kidney disease on Monday, April 21, 2025, at Innisfree Hospice in Kitchener. He was 73 years old and a long-time resident of the New Hamburg community.

Devoted husband of Linda (Mabee) Lepoudre, with whom he shared 53 cherished years of marriage. Beloved father and grandfather to Michelle (Luc) and their children Drew and Kara; Jason (Alicia) and their children Kayden, Kaleb, and Charlotte. Survived by his brother Robert (Joan) Lepoudre. Don will be deeply missed by the Kohl, Lepoudre, Lambrecht, and Mabee families.

Predeceased by his father Maurice Lepoudre (1977), stepfather Frank Lambrecht (1989), and mother Velma (Kohl) Lepoudre Lambrecht (2024).

A skilled Tool and Die Maker, Don worked with ATS for over 25 years. He had a passion for woodworking and always offered help with family and friend projects. A gifted musician, he graduated from the Royal Conservatory at age 12 and performed at weddings, legions, and other venues. He was also a self-taught organist.

Don contributed immensely to the Scouts in New Hamburg, loved the outdoors, snowmobiling, camping in the RV, and traveling with his family.

Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at Delhi Cemetery on Sunday, April 27, 2027, at 1:30 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at Tillsonburg Legion from 3–5 p.m.
