PRONK, Agnes Hubertha (nee Kea) Pronk   - Of Beaverton passed away peacefully at Lakeview Manor on February 14, 2021 at the age of 88.

Agnes was born in Amstelveen, Holland to parents Cornelius and Hubertha (Vendrig) Kea on April 11, 1932.

She immigrated to Canada in 1952 along with her parents and 12 of her 14 siblings.

It wasn’t long before she reunited with her teenage sweetheart, Bert, and in 1954 they married.

They lived in the Greater Toronto Area for five years before eventually settling to the dairy farm outside of Beaverton in 1959 where they raised their family of eight and farmed together for over 40 years.

Agnes will be fondly remembered for her love of family, welcoming home, great meals, talented handiwork (sewing, quilting and knitting), sense of humour, positive attitude and fun-loving spirit.

Agnes is survived by her children Marilyn (Lorne) Bagshaw, Gord (Hilary), Murray, Brenda (Paul) Norris, Mike (Eileen), Jackie (Herb) Brethour, Karen (Kevin) Willits, James (Nancy), brothers Albert Kea, John (Linda) Kea, Lee (Sue) Kea, sisters Margaret Jansen, Lisa (Pete) Hubers, Agatha Brunet, Nel (Louie) Goulet, brother-in-laws Nic (Fie) Pronk in Holland and Martin (Corrie) Pronk, grandchildren Carla (Ed), Laura (Brandon), Jessie, Alice, Lucy, Marcie, Daina, Jarrett (Shelby), Kaitlin (Mark), Andrea, Jennifer (John), Jaime (Mike), Jeff (Lainey), Kelsey (David), Brett, Sam, Haley, Abbie, Jack, Lucas, Marcos, great-grandchildren Cole, Cameron, Ben, Bronson, Jayden, and Radek, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents, husband Elbertus (‘Bert’) Pronk, brothers Henry Kea, Gord (Carrie) Kea, Jerry (Annette)Kea, Ed (Jennifer) Kea, sisters Bep (Pete) Van de Pol, Tina (John) Beukeboom and sister-in-laws in Holland Annie (Gerard) van der Kroon and Nellie (Kors) Kea.

A private family memorial service will be held.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the dedicated and compassionate staff at Lakeview Manor for the wonderful care Agnes received.
