BLEZARD, Alan James - April 15, 1942 - July 31, 2018 - Peacefully at Golden Plough Lodge on July 31, 2018 at the age of 76.
Beloved son of the late William and Greta Blezard.
Dear brother of Marion Buttars (the late David), Kathryn Blezard (Ron Murphy), Jean Walker, and the late Robert Blezard (Jean).
Uncle to Stephen Buttars, Susan Blezard, Jennifer Walker, Timothy Walker, and their families.
Alan was a graduate of Kemptville Agricultural College.
In his youth, he travelled the world to South Africa, Greece, Italy, France, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Western Canada, and the United States, working in various places including Expo '67 in Montreal.
He spent many years farming on the Cavan Road near Plainville, applying his wide knowledge of Holstein cattle.
A graveside service will be held in Baltimore United Church Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 24, 2018, followed by a reception at Plainville United Church at 12:30 p.m.
