STONE, Alan Cooper - It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Alan at home on Friday July 13, 2018 at the age of 85 years.
Predeceased by his wife Marjorie (nee:Roxborough), his parents Bert and Edith Stone, son Stephen and brother Bobby.
Dear father of Susan Babcock (David Reynolds) and father in law of Joan Stone (nee Eves).
Survived by sister Diane Steranka (Peter) and brother David Stone (Katherine).
Special Big Grandpa to Jordan Babcock (Danielle), Daniel Stone (Shelby), Brendan Babcock, Stephanie Stone, Kaileigh Babcock, Aidan Reynolds and Great Grandpa to Declan, Maxwell and Bennett.
Alan will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Dad retired from Celanese Canada and was an avid music lover and a long time Barbershopper.
Al has now joined his beloved quartet with Mom, Don and Ev.
A celebration of Al's life will be held at a later date.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre or your favourite children’s charity would be appreciated.
