LOUGHLIN, Alda - It is with extreme sorrow and heartache that we announce the unexpected passing of Alda Alba Loughlin Bruno, at the age of 68.
On Thursday, September 14, 2023, she left us after courageously battling kidney and heart disease.
Alda was born on January 13, 1955, in Cosenza, Italy, to her late parents, Mariano and Rosina (Cinelli) Bruno.
She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt, cousin, friend, and colleague.
She was painfully predeceased by her adored daughter, Amanda Rose Loughlin Phillips; and cherished sister, Carmela Bruno.
She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie; son-in-law, Jason Phillips; 2 granddaughters, Everly and Harper Phillips; and siblings, Sarina (Mario) Lucchetto, Pietro (Mirella) Bruno, Elia (Jerry) Molella, Eva (Tony) Fossella, and Linda (Tony) DeBartolo. Alda will be sorely missed for her compassion, loyalty, and tenacity for life.
Services include: Tuesday, September 19, 2023, 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. visitation at Innisfil Funeral Home, 7910 Yonge St, Innisfil, ON L9S 1L5. Wednesday September 20, 2023, 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., followed by a mass at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church, 15347 Yonge St, Aurora ON L4G 1N7.
In lieu of donations, Alda would have appreciated an assortment of colourful flowers.
