ALLAN, John Trenholme - Last call has been served to John Trenholme Allan, born in Montreal, QC, on April 28, 1957, died in Kincardine, ON, on September 26, 2015, aged 58 years.

Son of Jane (née Trenholme), and John Allan, and big brother to Andrew and Geoffrey, John is survived by all four.

From a very early age John's character was defined by an indomitable free spirit, an outgoing personality, and a fierce loyalty to his brothers

.

His gift for meticulous mechanical ingenuity earned him both a long career in Ontario Hydro's nuclear-power sector and high praise from friends and colleagues alike (often one and the same).

His irrepressible sense of humor and perpetual optimism will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family would like to especially thank Irene Hemmers & Murray Lamont for being such great neighbors, Heinz Pepper for his friendship, and Dr. Scott and the wonderful staff at South Bruce Grey Health Center for their dedicated and gentle professionalism.

A celebration of his life will be held in Kincardine at a date to be locally announced in October. Next summer his ashes will be interred in Metis Beach, QC, his childhood summer home, where he will be reunited with old friends and where his adventures can continue in peace.

Memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
