Wayne Douglas Ambrose

Wayne Douglas Ambrose of Mono Township passed away suddenly at the age of 72 on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
Predeceased by his wife of 35 years, his love and best friend, Sandra Ambrose (October 25, 2024).
He was also predeceased by his parents, Lawrence and Vivian Ambrose, and his younger brother, Ernie Ambrose.

Wayne is survived by his siblings Patricia (Patti) Hicks and Dennis Ambrose (Stefanie).
He was the loving father of Bobbi Jo (Peter), Allen, David, and Denise.
A proud and devoted grandfather to Pete (Carley) Bannon, Iris Bannon (Ahmad Karzai), Holly Bannon (JD Hurst), Christopher, Hayden, and Aaron.
Cherished great-grandfather of Raiden and Kaelyn Neville, and Jack and Kipper Bannon.
He was predeceased by his great-grandson, Russel Hurst.
Wayne will also be deeply missed by his nieces and nephews, Shelley, Heather, Keith, and Lauren.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
at the Shelburne Legion, 203 William Street, Shelburne, ON L9V 3L6.

Cremation arrangements entrusted to McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD.,
152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558). A spring interment will be held in Oshawa, with details to follow.
