Giorgio D'Amico

January 16, 1944 - March 4, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Giorgio D'Amico on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Lakeridge Health Hospital, Oshawa. Giorgio, at the age of 81, was the beloved husband of the late Concetta (2003).

He was the loving father of Josephine (Rigoberto), Carmela (Rob), and Adriana; and the cherished Nonno of Giorgio, Rigo, Robert, and David. Giorgio was young at heart and lived life to the fullest. In his earlier years, he was a hardworking and talented individual whose calm personality was admired by all.

Giorgio enjoyed spending time at the cottage with friends and later found great joy in spending winters in Florida. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his extended family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Friday, March 7, 2025, at Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at St. Gregory The Great Roman Catholic Church, 214 Simcoe Street North, Oshawa, at 10:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, 33 Memory Gardens Lane, North York.

If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
