ARMSTRONG, Ann Mary Lazire (Bolton) - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children, at North York General Hospital, Wednesday, February 3, 2021, in her 83rd year.
Predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years, Philip Andrew Armstrong, her parents, Gordon and Elda Bolton, and daughter, Leslie Helen Armstrong.
Mary will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Duncan Armstrong (Lynda), and Daphne Armstrong Webster (Taylor Moore). Much adored Granny to Sarah and Matthew Armstrong, and Victoria, William and Cameron Webster.
Mary grew up in Toronto, attended Whitney Public School and then spent her secondary school years at Branksome Hall.
After graduation, Mary attended the University of Toronto where she attained her Dental Hygiene degree from the Faculty of Dentistry. After practicing dentistry for several years, Mary left the workforce to focus on raising Duncan and Daphne.
In the early 70’s Mary embarked on what would become a lifelong volunteer commitment to the Junior League of Toronto, and the Garden Club of Toronto.
A brief outdoor service and interment is planned for family and friends, later this spring.
