Kevin David Ash
February 24, 1953 – January 15, 2025
In Loving Memory
We celebrate the life and legacy of Kevin David Ash, who passed away peacefully on January 15, 2025, at the age of 71, with family by his side. Kevin was a devoted husband of 48 years to Madeleine, an inspirational father to Lindsay and Michael (Stephanie), a proud Papa to Crimson and Arês, and a loving Grandpa to Spencer and Fionn.
Kevin was a cherished brother to Tony, Sean (Judy), and Kelly (Doug); a beloved brother-in-law to Mary (Dean), Cathy (Steve), John, and Anne (Al); and a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. His family and friends will remember him for his remarkable insight, talent for articulate expression, and a sense of humor that could brighten even the most challenging moments.
Kevin’s love for Christmas was unparalleled, earning him the title of "Christmas Connoisseur." His magic brought decorations, lights, and music to life, and he spread Christmas cheer through partnerships with communities across Canada for their Festival of Lights campaigns.
Over his lifetime, Kevin held many roles, starting as an AV tech at Neil McNeil High School. He later worked at Safety Supply Canada, Raywall Kitchens, and Signs and Safety. Kevin also served as a 911 dispatcher in Oshawa and most recently at Vaughan Fire. After a lengthy illness with numerous complications, Kevin passed peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and forever loved by his family and friends.
