GORDON, Audrie May (Reading) - August 14, 1923 - December 16, 2020 - Our mom passed peacefully after a long blessed life of 97 years.
Daughter of the late George & Mabel Reading.
Predeceased by her husband Allan Russell Gordon (2004), and big sister to her late brothers, Barrie and Clayton.
She was a wonderful mother to Richard (Margot), Susan (John) and a much loved and cherished grandmother to Drew, Adrian, Wyatt and great grandson, Owen.
She will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and cousins, long time friends and new friends, caregivers and staff at her Retirement Suites by the Lake community.
She will be fondly remembered for her sharp wit, even sharper card playing skills –Ontario Euchre Champion! She was a compassionate, honest, genuine, engaging, wise, proud, brave, nurturing mother and doting grandmother who defined pride and selflessness to the core.
Godspeed, Our Queen of Hearts.
We will gather together when gatherings are permitted.
