LEWIS, Austin 'Ozzie' - With great sadness we announce the passing of Austin “Ozzie” Lewis at the O’Neill Centre on August 29, 2020.
He passed peacefully at the age of 91 (born October 14, 1928) surrounded by his family and loved ones.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 68 years Leona Lewis (nee Silver); his brother Lawrence Lewis and sister Sylvia Gold; his children Bryna, Marla, Steve, and Jordan; his six grandchildren Rosie, Silver, Noah, Ruby, Adi, and Benjamin.
We are very grateful for the kind and attentive care from all of the staff at the O’Neill Centre. Ozzie will be sorely missed by everyone whose life he touched. His sense of humour lives on in all of us.
Arrangements with Steeles Memorial Chapel. There will be a private graveside funeral and shiva, respecting COVID-19 restrictions.
The family will be broadcasting the Shiva over zoom from August 31st to September 4th from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. daily. Please see below for Zoom details.
