Lynne Childs

1938 – 2025

Peacefully, with family by her side, at Strathroy Middle General Hospital,
on Sunday, March 2, 2025, Alma Evelyn “Lynne” Childs (née Mathieson),
in her 86th year.

Beloved and loving wife of Marvin Arthur Childs for 67 years.
Cherished mother of Thomas (Cheryl Paré) and Susan (Mike) Dann.
Devoted grandma of Adam Hawkins, Jennifer (Rob) Linner, Nathan Hawkins,
Kimberley (Kellen) Hammell, and Conner Dann, as well as five great-grandchildren.
Dear sister of Janice (Errol) Aveling.
Lynne will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Lynne’s Life will be held
at North Middle Community Center, 224 McLeod St., Parkhill,
on Sunday, March 16th, 2025, from 1-5 p.m.
Words of remembrance will be shared at 3:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Lung Association
would be acknowledged by the family.
