Annabelle (Lee) Ball

July 23, 1933 - March 6, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Annabelle Ball (née Lee) on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Douglas Crossing Retirement Home, peacefully with her family by her side.

Annabelle was born in Greenbank, Ontario, on July 23, 1933, to the late Frank and Laura Lee (née Thomas). She was the beloved wife of the late Alan Ball for 63 years, a devoted mother to David (LeeAnn), and a cherished grandmother to Dawson and Chandler. She was predeceased by her brother Murray and sister-in-law Shirley Lee. She is survived by her brother George (Isabelle) and sister Beatrice (late Ted Murphy). Annabelle was also a loving sister-in-law to the late James Ball (Eleanor) and Elsie Werry (late Ron Werry). She will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Raised on the family farm in Greenbank, Annabelle pursued her passion for teaching at teachers' college. She taught for several years in Toronto at Victoria Park before dedicating herself to her family and later resuming her career at Scott Central Public School.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at Douglas Crossing for their compassionate care, especially Maddy, whose support over the past two years has been deeply appreciated.

A Funeral Service will be held at Low and Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Uxbridge (905-852-3073), on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 2 p.m. with visitation at 1 p.m. A reception will follow immediately after the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oak Valley Health, Uxbridge, or a charity of your choice.
