It is with heavy hearts that we announce Lynne’s passing on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Michael Garron Hospital, Toronto at the age of 78. Cherished daughter of the late John and Edith Parnell. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Barger. She will be sadly missed by her brother Mark (Janet), her nieces Amanda (Kyle), Kerin Pink and nephew Christopher. Lynne was a treasured great-aunt to Haley, Jaxs, Zion and Camilla. A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Pine Hills Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough on Friday, September 6, 2024 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at the funeral centre on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 2 p.m., with visitation an hour prior. Reception to follow. If desired, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
