LAZAR, Beatrice - It is with great sadness that we share the peaceful passing of Beatrice Lazar on Thursday, February 11th, 2021.
Beloved daughter of late Clara and Aron Leibovici, sister to late Simon Leibovici and loving wife to late Avram Lazar.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Anca Knoll, and son-in-law, Raul Knoll and by her grandchildren, Miri and Wayne Spencer, Marsha and Jared Rosenberg and five great-grandchildren, Noa, Kayla, Micah, Daniel and Gabriel.
She will also be fondly remembered by her extended family and friends.
Known as “Buna” by many, she will be always be known for her unconditional love for her family, her elegant style and kind heart. She was a committed grandmother and dedicated friend to all who knew her.
Buna’s strength was unlike any other and she will forever be remembered as a brave woman who was so deeply loved by her friends and family. Those touched by Buna were lucky and privileged to know her. She leaves behind beautiful and fond memories.
Private Family Arrangements and livestreamed funeral service are entrusted with Steeles memorial chapel, Thornhill.
