Cathy Loraine Beers (nee Smith)

Monday, July 7th, 1952 - Thursday, November 14th, 2024

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Cathy Loraine Beers (nee Smith) on November 14th, 2024, at the age of 73. Cathy passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.

Predeceased by her parents, Stanley Smith of Halkirk, AB, and Wilma Smith (Lorne Wright) of Leduc, AB, formerly of Beaverton, ON, Cathy was the loving oldest sister to Connie Cooper (Lee), Carolyn Inkster, Candace Heuser (Chuck), Peter, and Cecil. She is predeceased by her siblings Cherie Smith and Charlene Smith.

Cathy was a devoted wife to Bryan for 55 years, a proud mother to Kerri-Ann (Joe) Cramer, and the late Kristi (Scott). She cherished her role as grandmother to Daniel (Brittany), Brett (Samantha), Jared, and Josh, and great-grandmother to Isabella and Alexander. Cathy will be lovingly remembered by her extended family, friends, and neighbors for her warmth and generosity.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Ross Memorial Hospital for their compassionate care. Cremation has taken place, and a service to honor Cathy’s life will be announced at a later date.
