Donald William Belleville

April 1938 ~ December 6, 2024

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Donald William Belleville in Ottawa on December 6, 2024, at the age of 86. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 50 years, Aline Georgette Belleville (née Daoust).

Donald was a loving father to his children Gary (Shirley), Rick (Angie), Rob (Jeanine), and Tanya Geary (John) and a proud grandfather of Ryan, Max, Ethan, and Delilah. He leaves behind his dear siblings Sally McGoey (late Mervyn), Terry (late Marilyn), and June Crabtree (late Randy), as well as many other relatives and friends. Donald was predeceased by his parents William Augustine and Mamie Elizabeth Belleville (née Weatherall) and brothers Robert (Reine-Aimée) and Jerry.

Donald was a hardworking and loyal employee of the City of Ottawa for 37 years. In his younger days, he was an avid participant in several sports and a longtime organizer of local softball and broomball leagues.

His family is grateful for the wonderful care provided by Dr. Malek and his superb nurse Merced Taligon. Special thanks to the outstanding staff at Longfields Manor.

Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
Saint Monica Parish, 2080 Merivale Road, Nepean, ON.
Inurnment:
Pinecrest Cemetery, followed by a reception for family and friends at Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa.

In memory of Donald, donations to the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County would be appreciated.
