DONKIN, Bernice Minerva - It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Bernice Donkin, on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 in her 90th year, surrounded by the love of her family.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Paul (2012), her parents, Josephine and William Fowler, and her siblings, Isobel, Bill and Mary.
Loving mother of Linda Clarkson (Geoffrey), Marilyn Stairs (Peter). Adored grandmother of Sean Clarkson (Wendy), Jaclyn Rockwell (Steve), Blake Stairs (Tegan) and Grant Stairs. Special great-grandmother to Pierce, Daniel and James Clarkson. She is fondly remembered by her sister-in-law, Mildred McKim and many nieces and nephews across Canada.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday January 17, 2017 at 11 A.M. at Coutts funeral home, Cambridge.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated by the family.
