Bies TaniaBIES, Tania Natalie (nee Denman)After a courageous battle with cancer, Tania passed away peacefully at the age of 50, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, on September, 4, 2015, with her family by her side.

Dearly beloved wife of 25 years to Doug Bies.

Loved mother of Katrina and Eric. Loving daughter of Valerie and Norman Denman.

Courageous sister of Adina and brother-in-law Scott Thompson and Bart Bies. Adoring aunt to Kendra, Jillian & Mellissa.

Tania will be sadly missed by her many aunts, uncles and cousins in the UK,  her best friend Terri Schirmer and family, her in-laws Bill and Betty Bies, and last but not least her dog Boo.

Tania loved Dragon Boating with the Warriors of Hope and will be missed by her crew. Also a heartfelt thank you to Dr. DeVost and the Supportive Care Unit at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their T.L.C.

Visitation will be held at the DESTEFANO FUNERAL HOME, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport) 905-440-3595 on Saturday, September 12th  from 1-2 pm.

A Service to Celebrate the Life of Tania will be held in the DeStefano Chapel at 2 pm.

A second service will be held in North Bay on Saturday, September 26th at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 23, 150 First Ave W, North Bay, ON,  same times as above.

If desired, donations may be made to the Warriors of Hope or to the Near North Palliative Care Network. Memories may be shared at destefanofuneralhomes.ca.
