Gary Bobolia

1957 - 2024

Gary Bobolia, formerly of Dresden, passed away unexpectedly in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the age of 67.

Born in Chatham, Gary was the son of the late Joe and Betty Bobolia. Beloved husband and best friend of Karla (Lawrence) Bobolia. Loving father of Sheri Dunlop, Sara Jacques, and Christopher VanHumbeck. He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Keegan, Colten, Maddison, Sophia, and Charlie, and by his sister Wendy Primeau (Mike).

Gary worked for many years as a millwright at the Canadian Canners in Dresden and will be remembered for his dedication to his family and friends. He was predeceased by his father and mother-in-law Jack and Yvonne Lawrence.

A Celebration of Gary’s Life will be held at the Dresden Legion, 180 St. George St. N., on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM. There will be finger foods and a cash bar.
