Tom Anthony den Bok

August 31, 1964 – December 8, 2024

Tom Anthony den Bok passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 8th, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family. Born to Johannes (Joop) and Helena (Leny) den Bok on August 31st, 1964, Tom will forever be remembered as a loving son, a devoted husband, a dedicated father, and a cherished friend to many.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Micheline (nee Mohlmann), and his children, Danielle den Bok, Kristen den Bok (Aaron Matthews), Nicole den Bok (Perry Thomson), and Luke den Bok (Jessica Gnesin). Tom is also survived by his sisters, Carolina (Steve) Kay and Wendy (Paul) Stephens, and sister-in-law Roxanne den Bok. He was predeceased by his sister Bonnie and brother Wayne. His extended family, friends, neighbors, and community will deeply miss his vibrant spirit and generosity.

Tom was a man of faith, talent, and dedication. Skilled in woodworking, home design, and unique projects, he used his gifts to help his community and those around him. He loved the outdoors and could often be found singing with the choir, hiking, skiing, paddling, or working in his workshop. He leaves a legacy of love, faith, and creativity that will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 20th, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Fawcett Funeral Home in Collingwood. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, December 21st, 2024, at 2:00 PM, with visiting beginning at 1:00 PM, at the First Presbyterian Church in Collingwood.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Weeneebayko Foundation or the Downie & Wenjack Fund in Tom’s memory. Memories and condolences may be shared online.
