Smiling man in a suit and glasses.Ronald Francis Botell
July 1, 1934 – October 28, 2024

We are deeply grateful to have shared in the life of Ronald Francis Botell, affectionately known as Ron, who passed away peacefully on October 28, 2024, at the age of 90. Ron was the beloved husband and best friend of Ann for almost 70 wonderful years. Together, they built a family foundation of love, friendship, and faith that will endure forever.

Ron was a devoted father to Terry and Tim, Greg, Mark and Libby, and Barbara (known lovingly as Cheech). He was the cherished "Pappy" to his grandchildren, Adam and Fiona, Matthew, Meaghan, Samantha, Kayleigh, Daniel, Jennifer, Devon, and his namesake Ronni, and a proud great-grandfather to Gabriel, Vivianna, Marigold, Ezekial, and the soon-to-arrive "Baby P." His sister, Joanne Binns, and his furry grand-pets, Barney, Eli, and Faith, were also dear to his heart.

Ron had a passion for sports, especially hockey and baseball, and he remained hopeful for a Leafs Stanley Cup win from above. Known for his love of conversation, he enjoyed connecting with family and friends over the years, cherishing every moment.
