Corrie Boudewyns
February 28, 1929 – December 28, 2024
Corrie Boudewyns passed away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Sunnyside Home, Kitchener, at the age of 95. Corrie is now reunited with her loving husband of 69 years, John.
She will be dearly missed by her children Frieda (Dave Charlton, 2015), Marty (Janice), Marian (Marty) VandeVen, Diana (Russell) Davison, and Janette (Joe) Soehner. Special Oma to Andrea (Marcel), Stacey (Ryan); Adam (Lauren), Alexis; Jennifer (Matt), Robin (Matt); Aaron (Krista), Nate; Christine (Mike), and Robbie. Great Oma to 13 great-grandchildren.
Family was dear to Corrie’s heart. She lit up whenever her grandkids or great-grandkids were in the room, and she always prioritized her friends and family. Corrie kept busy with knitting, sewing, crafts, and gardening. She was close to her Catholic faith and always ready for a laugh and a good card game. She will be deeply missed.
Cremation has taken place, and a mass and celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Donations to Crohn’s and Colitis Canada or MS Canada would be appreciated and may be made through Dreisinger Funeral Home.
