BALL, Brenda Lynn (Hough) - CEO of Hubbard and Company Heritage Restoration, Spencerville
Spencerville grew a little darker on 11 July 2018 with the loss of Brenda, who passed away suddenly at the Civic Hospital in Ottawa at the age of 55 years.
Brenda was a tireless community supporter sitting on council in Edwardsburgh-Cardinal and applying her vast experience in business management to the many local organisations she helped over the years, including the Spencerville Mill, the South Grenville Bluegrass Festival, and the Roebuck Education Recreation Association.
Brenda joins her beloved partner Brad Hubbard and father Howard Hough who passed before her.
Brenda is survived by her daughter Stefanie Martin (Ron) and grandchildren Alyssa, Elizabeth and Nicholas, who will miss their “mymy” greatly.
Dear daughter of Verna Brown, step-daughter of James Brown, and sister of Judy Hough (Holmer Berthiaume), Wendy Hough (Michael McAuley), and Wayne Hough (Sue).
Brenda will also be remembered by Brad’s sons Neil and Kirk, many cherished aunts and uncles including Nellie Landon as well as several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to a ceremony in celebration of Brenda’s life at 3 PM on Monday, July 16, 2018 at the Roebuck Community Centre at 7024 County Rd 18, followed by a reception.
To continue Brenda’s dedication to her community, as well as preserving Brad’s memory, expressions of sympathy donations made to the Bradford M. Hubbard Memorial Fund (please, make cheques payable to the Brockville Community Foundation) will be gratefully acknowledged.
