BROWN, Pearlene Brown - After a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and devotion, Pearlene Brown (née Hoilett) peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on July 31st, 2024, in her remarkable 92nd year. Predeceased by her husband, Percy Blagrove Brown, and son, Stanford Hermese Brown, she leaves behind a legacy of love, cherished memories, and a family who adored her.
Her children, Ray Llewellyn (wife Fanett), Janet Dunn (husband Kenneth), and Caroll Rattray (husband Dwain), were also the recipients of her boundless love and dedication. Her family was her pride and joy, and she was theirs. Five grandchildren (Abigail, Brian, Nicole, Steve, Sonnai) and seven great-grandchildren were also blessed to have her in their lives.
Pearl was the matriarch of her family, a pillar of strength, wisdom, and faith. Her home was a haven for family gatherings, filled with love, warmth, laughter, and delicious meals. Her love for the Lord Jesus Christ was the foundation of her life. She was an active member of the Toronto New Covenant Cathedral (TNCC), a Ministry of The Church of God of Prophecy, for over 50 years, where she joyfully served the community, and vibrantly supporting the various ministries of the church.
Her life was a testament to her strength, perseverance, and unwavering faith. We, her family, are grateful for the breadth and gift of her life and the precious memories she leaves behind. We invite you to join us as we celebrate her outstanding life, and honour her lasting impact.
