Velma Myrtle Burnett (Wright)
1939 – December 13, 2024
Velma Myrtle Burnett (Wright) passed away peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Caressant Care Mary Street, Lindsay, in her 85th year. Velma was the beloved wife of the late William “Jack” Burnett. Cherished mother to Tracy (Trevor), Dean (Brenda), David (Sandie), and Danny. Loving grandma of Carissa (Andrew) and Jason. Along with her nieces and extended family, Velma will forever be remembered for her love and warmth that touched everyone who knew her. Her legacy will live on through the many lives she impacted.
Special thanks go out to the Ross Memorial Hospital and Caressant Care for their compassionate care over the last two years.
Visitation: Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay, on Saturday, December 21, 2024, from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM.
A reception will follow, and interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery at a later date.
