Michelle Lynn Byl (Mitton)
Passed Away: April 11, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michelle Lynn Byl (Mitton), a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Michelle fought a courageous 3-year battle with cancer, gaining her angel wings on April 11, 2025.
Beloved wife and best friend of Clarence Byl. Proud and loving mother of Bailey Paul (Alyssa) of Norwich. Cherished daughter of Judyann Mitton, and the late Ron Mitton (2015) of Tillsonburg. Dear sister of Michael Mitton of Tillsonburg. Loving daughter-in-law of Nelly Byl and the late John Byl (2015) of Norwich. Adored by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
Michelle was more than a friend; she was a chosen sister to Teressa Van Acker (Ken Clairmont) and children Kyaira, Desmond, and Lucca of Tillsonburg, Dave Dyer and Amy Nadeau of Tillsonburg, and Dana McCarey of Delhi. Michelle will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to visit the family at the Arn-Lockie Funeral Home, 45 Main Street West, Norwich, ON, on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 6:00–8:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 10:00–10:45 a.m. A service to celebrate Michelle’s life will be held at the North Broadway Baptist Church, 6 North Street East, Tillsonburg, ON, on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Michelle may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
